For the first time in six years, the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels will scream across Duluth’s skies.
Ryan Kern, president of the Duluth Airshow, announced the Angels will soar Aug. 23-24, 2014, along with more than a dozen other performers, and more performers to be announced in January.
“In 2013, sequestration cancelled most of the airshows around the country and grounded the military demonstration teams. We got official word two weeks ago that their funding has been approved for 2014,” Kern said in a statement.
Advance discounted tickets for the Duluth Airshow are available and can be purchased at duluthairshow.com on Sunday.
