The Lester River Rendezvous is coming a day late this year.
The popular event has been postponed until Sunday because of today’s rainy forecast, Darlene Marshall said on behalf of the event. The forecast for Sunday is mostly sunny with a high of 70.
The 14th annual Rendezvous will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Lester Park, 61st Avenue East and Superior Street.
The event includes more than 50 food and craft vendors, live music and activities for kids and adults. It features “Voyageur Village,” a northern Minnesota camp from the late 18th century.
The North Shore Scenic Railroad is offering a train shuttle from 27th Avenue East to Lester Park with a stop at 46th Avenue East. Admission to the park is free, as is the shuttle.
