All right, Duluth. You can put down the torches and pitchforks.

After a swell of good-old-fashioned Duluthian complaints via e-mail and phone, lawn chairs will be allowed toward the back of Bayfront Festival Park for the Bob Dylan concert July 9. The chairs initially were prohibited by organizers.

The move goes against normal Dylan tour requirements, which usually only allow blankets for sitting on the ground, organizers said.

But don’t get cute. Only regular, folding lawn chairs or similarly small chairs will be allowed. Larger chairs with footrests and umbrellas are prohibited.

Wilco, My Morning Jacket and the Richard Thompson Electric Trio will perform at the show, too. Tickets are available at the DECC box office, and (800) 745-3000.
