Annual open house

The Commemorative Air Force-Lake Superior Squadron 101 celebrates its annual open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Entrance to the event and the CAF-LSS101 Armed Forces Museum is free and open to the public. The museum’s exhibits include a World War II PBY Catalina flying boat along with displays of armory, uniforms and other military items.

There will be a noon presentation, with featured speakers Unit Leader Kevin Parks; Northland Veteran’s Association member Durbin Keeney; Adam Sheda Museum Collection commemoration speaker Tony Sheda; and Wayne Johnson, who flew with the Flying Tigers in World War II.

The CAF-LSS101 Museum is at 4931 Airport Road near Cirrus Design.
