What do butlers, scones, jam, finger sandwiches and quiche say to you?
Well, to the people of Eh? they say “women’s right to vote.” Ninety-three years of it, in fact.
Come celebrate the history of women’s voting at Equali-Tea, hosted Saturday, March 16, by the League of Women Voters Duluth. There will be two seatings — 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. — for a full tea, “Downton Abbey”-style. Retired judge Carol Person will present a short program on the importance of an impartial judiciary.
Reserve by Monday. Call Sally Munger at (218) 728-0711 or e-mail email@example.com.
