Mental health first-aid course back by popular demand

A 12-hour mental health first-aid course offered in February proved to be so popular that it’s being offered again in March.

The certification course will be offered from 5-8:15 p.m. on March 19, 21, 26 and 28 at Amberwing, 615 Pecan Ave., the Miller-Dwan Foundation tells us. It’s open to anyone, including first responders, students, teachers, leaders of faith communities and human resource professionals.

The fee is $100. Register by calling (218) 786-5829 or going to the Miller-Dwan Foundation website.
