Kids with special needs will get a quieter, calmer Santa Claus experience at the Miller Hill Mall on Sunday morning.

The Caring Santa event will be at the mall from 9-11 a.m. The event caters to families whose children have special needs by reducing sensory triggers, such as music and bright lights; replacing the long line with a numbering system to call the children; and providing special activities and stories for those who are waiting.

The elves at the mall asked us to encourage parents who want their children to participate to RSVP.
