Can you believe it’s here already? Thursday is the fourth annual “Give to the Max” Day in Minnesota.
The frenzy of online giving attracted 47,534 donors last year, according to GiveMN. The day raised $13.4 million for nearly 4,000 Minnesota nonprofit organizations.
This year, for the first time, recipients will include public schools.
Among dozens of Northland organizations looking for donations are Animal Allies, Legal Aid Service of Northeastern Minnesota, Access North-Center for Independent Living, Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank, the Lake Superior Zoo, Marshall School and the Minnesota Ballet.
