Street signs of gold … and maroon

The streets aren’t paved with gold yet, but the University of Minnesota Duluth will unveil new campus street signs today that are maroon and gold.

The signs, with Bulldog emblems and the university colors, are meant to connect the school with the city. Mayor Don Ness will attend the unveiling at 6 p.m. on Ordean Court on campus.

This is homecoming week at UMD.
