For those still dealing with home fixes after the June flood, or just planning some remodeling before winter sets in, there’s a class for that.

One Roof Community Housing, the city of Duluth and the Duluth Energy Efficiency Program are hosting a home-improvement workshop today at the Central Hillside Community Center, 12 E. Fourth St.

The free workshop, limited to 30 people and running 6-9 p.m., will feature local experts on how to prioritize projects and repairs, get the best return on remodeling costs, permits and codes, information on flood-related mold and getting the most efficiency in home-energy use.

There also will be information on deferred and no-interest home loans. One Roof will also make its lending library available.
