Northland military veterans can take care of everything from haircuts to housing benefits to court matters Friday at the annual Duluth Veterans StandDown.
All veterans are welcome, no matter their needs. There is also a free lunch. There will be public benefits assistance information and resources for those who are homeless or at risk.
Judges and defense attorneys also will be on hand to take care of non-felony warrants that any vet may have outstanding.
The StandDown, sponsored by the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans, runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the Depot, 506 W. Michigan St. in Duluth. There is a welcome ceremony at 11:30 a.m.
