Racial equity at Lake Superior College

Interested in learning about, working on, and heck, doing something to achieve racial equity?

The Equity Gathering 2 is happening at Lake Superior College today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Presenters and attendees from across the state will discuss (and offer solutions on) issues ranging from the educational achievement gap to voter ID. Co-sponsors include the Clayton Jackson McGhie Memorial Committee, Organizing Apprentice Project and Duluth BRASS — which stands for “Building Relationships Analysis Skills and Strategy,” a goal of the gathering. It’s free and open to all.

Lake Superior College is located at 2101 Trinity Rd. in Duluth.
