Northland flood began one month ago

Today marks one month since rain began to soak much of the Northland in floodwaters.

The storms started June 19, and what a difference a month makes.

As of Tuesday, Duluth was 1½ inches below normal for precipitation in July — but still 4 inches above normal for the season, thanks to that big rain in June.
