Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College has been a part of the city of Superior for 100 years.
In 1912, Superior became the second city in Wisconsin to establish a vocational school. Today WITC has four campuses and more than 24,000 students.
The Superior campus of the college, 600 N. 21st St., wants to celebrate its centennial from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday with a free lawn party.
Music from the past 100 years will be provided by Sounds Unlimited and there will be entertainment for kids, including a moonwalk, face painting, balloon animals and games. WITC will provide cupcakes, coffee, lemonade and Italian ice.
