Grandma’s Marathon is over, but there’s another chance to lace up your shoes and hit the pavement.

The Duluth YMCA is accepting registrations for its fifth annual Sidewalk Shuffle 5K Walk & Run. The race starts at 12:10 p.m. July 11 at the Lake Superior Plaza. Participants will cross Lake Avenue and take the Lakewalk up and down the shore before finishing their jaunt at Lake Place Park.

The entry fee is $20 per individual or $80 for a team of five. All ages are welcome.

Proceeds from the event will support the Y’s Strong Kids Campaign to ensure children, whatever their financial means, are never turned away for an inability to afford a membership or pay for programs.
